Steampunk Box was born out of my fascination with pocket watches since I was a kid.

My dad and granddad left behind 5 faulty pocket watches of the bigger kind to me when they passed away, and since then I’ve been moving around with those watches. I didn’t even have a key for them, so they literally collected dust.

In the early summer of 2008 I got tired of moving them around and decided to see if I could make something else from them. I was familiar with Steampunk through art since before, but never tried it myself.
After a couple of months, my jewelery was selling pretty good and I decided to continue.

These days I’m buying old pocket watches and wrist watches from the 50′s and back from suppliers that I’ve gathered. My jewelery is available here in the store.
I’m keeping the sold items in the store for the sake of customers who are interested in commission. I never make the same item twice, so they are there for inspiration only when a customer are not sure what they want. There’s always a shape that fits everyone.
