When I logged in the back of this blog today there were like a million plugins needing updates :p Well, maybe not that many, but some anyway. WordPress needs an upgrade too, but that will have to wait. It’s not a matter of national security or anything :p

Today I’ve bought a new cell phone. My Steampunked cell phone died due to a broken charger and because it was a dying model of Motorola I couldn’t find anyone who had the charger I needed.
So today we went into 3′s store in town and got my a Skype phone. It’s Pay As You Go, but with the Skype added for free calls between Skype accounts. We’re getting Robin a similar phone at some point in a near future as well so that at least our calls to each other won’t cost anything :)
If I can get my son to fix his computer and install Skype, get a headset or a Skype phone, I can even make free calls to Sweden :) Not that I make loads of phone calls to Sweden, but it would be nice to be able to without having to fear the phone bill :pp

The phone I got is the middle model – there’s 3 to choose among – and it’s a bit more advanced than my old phone was. It even got a camera :pp I always end up using nothing but the phone itself in the end, but with a £10 top-up, it was £50 all together…so what the heck. No chance of Steampunking this one though :( It’s simply not Steampunk friendly enuf :p

I’ve also done some Christmas gift shopping today…but I can’t tell you what I bought since the people in the receiving end is reading this too :p I even got a surprise for Robin that he knows nuttin about yet :p

Anyway…that’s about it for now. Health wise I’ve got a sore throat, clogged up ears and a nose that is threatening to make life difficult for me. Guess you could say it’s that time of the year :p Raining cats’n'dogs out there tonight and it’s icky.
I haven’t had a chance to do any painting today (for the game), but I might do some in a couple of hours. Any progress will be posted here somewhere :)
