Banks & neighbors
My bank is being stupid this morning and locked me out of my Internet banking :( All of a sudden my login for my business account wasn’t good enough for them and I have no clue why. So now I have to wait for a few days to get a new activation code. Stupid technology.
Today is a new day. It’s sunny out there and I wish we had some errands to do today, but there’s absolutely nothing. So typical :p I’m a bit grumpy about my bank being a pain the butt. Technology should never been introduced to the bank world because they have no idea how to maintain the darn thing. And how to get it to work.
I had these problems with my personal account about a week ago too, but after go through the whole process and adding account number, sort codes, the eye color of my granny’s cat and all that again, it accepted my login.
Why that process didn’t work for the business account, only heaven knows.
Almost lunch time now, even though I’m a bit behind today. Didn’t fall asleep until around 5 AM this morning, so I’m playing cathup :pp
The picture in this post is one of those that I took yesterday when we went up to the Hall across the road. It’s the backdrop I’m using for the game I’m fiddling with. Nothing left but a shell, but it used to be grand in the old days. Bigger copy of the picture if you click on it :)

I hear ya! I went to my bank on Tuesday to take care of business. They have a branch inside the grocery store I shop at. Before the lady took care of what I needed done she said, “Did you know you can do this online instead of coming in?” I was a little offended because I immediately thought she felt ‘inconvenienced’ by my presence. I said, “Yes, but I have to shop here anyway” and I thought to myself “and your here earning a paycheck,” She said ok and went to work on my transaction, but still…. then I noticed she mixed up the transfers on the 2 accounts I gave her. As she was correcting them, I told her I just preferred the good old fashioned face to face since if that happened online it would have been harder for me to make the “bot” understand. She agreed (but I thought it would have been a close match between the bot and her, lol!)
lol…her paycheck is probably bigger than the “bots” paycheck though :pp
But I agree…some things I prefer to do at the bank as well. Shouldn’t be too much to ask to be able to check your account online since Internet banking exists and all that :p
