Superstore, work and play

lizardsFirst of all – the image in this post has nothing to do with the content of the post itself…until now :pp I took this on a trip to the Butterfly House outside Sheffield in 2006. We always went there for my birthday during the first 4-5 years I was here….and in between that too…but it’s been a while now. These lizards do have a name I believe, but I can’t tell you what they are. Small and cute…but I’m sure that’s not the name for the kind of lizard :p

Anyway….we went in to Chesterfield in business yesterday afternoon and before we went back home again we took a tour at the Tesco Superstore. The fridge was dusty so it was one of those necessary evils. But also because that grocery store is brand new. Curiosity and all that.
And it was big…huge, in fact…and if you can ignore the fact that the first third of it is nothing but electronics, toys, DIY, kitchen supplies and much more, the rest was very familiar. Not a lot changed, other than a bigger variety in brands when it comes to the food. But the layout is very familiar, which is always a good thing. And while you’re doing the shopping it doesn’t really feel any bigger than the old store, but in a good way :)

So yes, I like it…as much as you can enjoy grocery stores and grocery shopping overall that is :pp

A couple of days ago I decided to make a game, but I only new that I wanted to make an adventure game of some kind. Not a shoot-to-kill-kinda-game, but something more subtle. More like a treasure hunt.

And last night the adventure itself kind of solved itself while I was looking at old photos :D There’s adventures everywhere when you look closely enough and we got one less than a mile away :) I haven’t decided how much I should reveal just yet. It might turn into nothing…or it might actually become a game that people are willing to pay for. But there will most likely be pictures if everything comes together :D

Time to continue my day here :)
Have a great one :D
