The background is slowly taking shape and the original size of this painting is 8000 x 5100 pixels now :p In 300 dpi. Was not meant to be that big when I split these two characters. So now it takes like forever to save this, resize it or making any other changes that requires Photoshop to do some thinking.
This character (and another that I will put by the foot of that tree) will be outdoors instead of having just a wall in the back. The moon is not quite done yet. I need to do something about that pattern. Charcoal is not ready either yet, but as I said before, I’m doing this so I can have some reference in light and shades.
And of course the tree and the rest is not even halfway there yet. This is just a sketch in colour so far.
Unless I fall asleep over the desk here within the next hour or two, I’ll post one more update on this today. Then it’s time to do something else. Dinner, maybe? :p Gotta eat too…or so they say :)
